Ronnie Schinker

CLIENT AND OFFICE COORDINATOR

Ronnie Schinker draws on her years of working abroad and domestically to connect with people from a variety of life paths in order to ensure the client work she supports is executed to perfection.

Ronnie prioritizes collaboration, believing that projects are stronger when they incorporate a diversity of perspectives. She is detail-oriented and uses her organizational skills to make sure all steps are accounted for within the client teams she supports. She is also experienced in graphic design, copyediting, facilitation and cross-cultural communication.

Prior to joining GBSM, Ronnie spent three years working in Uganda. While there, she served as a literacy specialist in the Peace Corps and a communications specialist for Mango Tree Literacy Lab, a nonprofit idea incubator that promotes reading, writing, teaching, and publishing in African languages. Ronnie has also served as a research assistant for the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe in Upstate NY and consulted for Global Livingston Institute to evaluate an agricultural program operating in Lira, Uganda.

Ronnie graduated from Cornell University’s Brooks School of Public Policy with a Master of Public Administration. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, History, and Ethnic Studies from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Ronnie is originally from Nebraska and is overjoyed to finally be living within sight of mountains. She spends her free time reading, gardening, exploring Denver’s many walking paths and watching cooking shows with her partner and their cat, Peaches.
