Molly Sharp has a breadth of experience in project management, policy analysis, event planning, email marketing and media tracking within the higher education, nonprofit and public health industries. With a meticulous approach to her work, Molly’s impeccable organization, attention to detail and strategic mindset enable her to navigate complex trends, synthesize broad implications and maintain a holistic perspective—ensuring her clients’ objectives are met.
Prior to joining GBSM, Molly served as the communications manager for the women’s health research center at East Tennessee State University. While partnering with the broader University’s communications team, Molly elevated the center’s crucial research while navigating a contentious climate in women’s health policy and its implications community-wide. There, she established the center’s digital marketing presence including the center’s social media presence, website, and digital newsletter and skillfully translated complex data into tailored multimedia messages, catering to a diverse range of stakeholders. This integration of technical research and audience comprehension has been a longstanding guidepost in Molly’s career, allowing for wider reach for her clients.
Molly holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Appalachian State University and a master’s in digital marketing from East Tennessee State University’s College of Business and Technology. Originally from North Carolina, she enjoys spending her free time reading, trying new restaurants and exploring the outdoors with her husband and dog.
