Lauren Seibert

Vice President of People and Strategy

Lauren Seibert ensures that our clients have access to the right mix of talented advisors for which GBSM is known. Lauren is an experienced people operations leader, spending over a decade transforming teams in the hospitality industry.  

She specializes in the employee lifecycle, starting with the candidate experience and an emphasis on the onboarding period to form a strong foundational bond with the team. By reimagining the point of HR, Lauren brings partnerships for mutual success to the forefront of the business’s strategy.  

Lauren supports the team internally at GBSM by fostering the growth of an inclusive culture and community within the workplace. She is passionate about team learning and development – coaching the process, helping to navigate the individual’s career path and then connecting it back to the strategy of the business.  

With the focus on a whole-person approach, she has developed programs that support the individual and the team with a strong alignment to an organization’s mission.    

After graduating from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder, Lauren began her career as an accountant and financial analyst in the private sector in Boston and Washington DC. While the technical aspects of the business world have been important building blocks in her career, Lauren decided to make a lifestyle change by following her lifelong passion for cuisine and culture by moving to Paris to study pastry. While she mostly bakes at home these days for her husband and family, she still searches out the best pastries everywhere she travels.
