Janine Haan

Janine Haan specializes in public affairs, strategic communication and stakeholder engagement, with an emphasis on effectively engaging diverse stakeholder groups.
Janine is a highly organized and motivated professional who is skilled in communication, management, legal and government processes and policy research. She has experience working with non-profit organizations, governmental entities and private businesses in both project leadership and support roles. Her values in building strong interpersonal relationships, collaboration, and diversity and inclusion initiatives make her a great asset on a wide range of projects.
While at GBSM, she has played a direct role in forming and facilitating a non-profit organization focused on supporting educational, environmental, health, economic and Indigenous initiatives. She also provides communications support to a national AARP program that has stopped more than $150 million from being stolen from older adults and worked with numerous public and quasi-governmental organizations on stakeholder engagement and messaging.
Prior to joining GBSM, Janine spent 13 years with a Denver-based law firm where she held a number of roles including office coordinator, executive assistant and senior paralegal. This experience honed her communication and research skills.
Janine received her degree in communication from the University of Colorado Denver. She has held a variety of volunteer positions in local schools and with non-profits focused on food security and refugee support. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.
