Abby Abel

Abby Abel specializes in developing thoughtful solutions to civic and organizational challenges rooted in engaging the right audiences to diagnose the issues, bold – yet pragmatic – thinking, and actionable strategies to produce the desired results.
Abby has worked with numerous private, nonprofit, and public-sector clients to advance their strategic interests, strengthen coalitions and partnerships, and unlock new value. In addition to building-out Colorado’s Smart Cities Alliance, Abby has helped lead the City of Aurora’s Smart City Playbook and the Open Mobility Foundation’s Member Engagement Strategy.
Abby began her career with a decade of work for GE. Prior to starting her consulting career, she served as the Chief Marketing Officer for GE’s global Renewable Energy business, leading market analysis and strategic planning. She also forged strategic partnerships for Ecomagination, GE’s platform for advancing innovative environmental solutions.
Abby brings clients a unique skillset that enables her to synthesize complex information into clear messaging and thoughtful solutions. She is passionate about applying creative problem-solving to help organizations – municipalities and nonprofit organizations – deliver better outcomes for those they serve.
Abby graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. in political science. She is a graduate of the Coro Fellows Program and received her MBA and MPP from the University of Michigan. Abby and her husband, Eliot, reside in Denver, where they strive to raise two engaged and compassionate children.
