CONSULTING SERVICES MANAGER
Elizabeth Sheehan manages business development and marketing for GBSM. She also monitors and evaluates business and communications tools, resources and methodologies to ensure the firm’s clients are always receiving the best and most effective service and insight.
Elizabeth is a skilled project and operations manager with a drive to build strong team dynamics and productive partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders. She has experience working with nonprofits, academic institutions, private companies and government agencies to deliver results in a variety of contexts. Her areas of expertise include managing communications campaigns, identifying and implementing organizational-process improvements and stakeholder-engagement programs.
Prior to joining GBSM, Elizabeth worked for large and small consulting firms where she managed projects valued at up to $200 million and led proposal development for new business opportunities. While at one of the world’s largest international-development companies, Chemonics International, she worked in operations directly under the President and CEO before joining the project management team that leads one of the US government’s largest monitoring and analysis programs for food insecurity prevention in more than 30 countries.
Elizabeth later also worked as a project manager at a strategic-communications company based in Philadelphia where she served as the main point of contact for all project communications and as a liaison between executive leadership, staff members and consultants.
Elizabeth brings a thoughtful, evidence-driven approach to every project, proposal or campaign. She prides herself on reliability and attention to detail and believes that building strong interpersonal relationships is the key to designing creative solutions for any challenge.
Elizabeth is a graduate of The Catholic University of America’s Busch School of Business, with a bachelor’s degree in International Business.
