Angela Jo Woolcott
Angela Jo Woolcott specializes in complex public affairs, consensus building and integrated communications for a multitude of stakeholders in both the public and private sectors. She has a positive track record for helping clients across the country achieve their goals through public involvement, stakeholder engagement and collaborative decision making processes.
For more than twenty years, Angela has managed a diverse array of marketing and communications programs for clients ranging from public agencies such as, the Colorado Department of Transportation and the National Park Service to Fortune 500 companies such as, Procter & Gamble and Motorola. Her diverse experience provides GBSM clients with a valuable partner who can work seamlessly across multiple industries and disciplines to creatively solve problems.
Prior to joining GBSM, Angela established a growing reputation for helping clients address challenges utilizing her alternative dispute resolution capabilities in assessment and design, facilitation, mediation, and customized training at Boulder-based firm, CDR Associates. Her substantive expertise in multimodal transportation system planning, water and healthcare proved invaluable for recent clients like, Mountain Metro Transit, Denver Water and Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services.
Angela started her career developing marketing and advertising strategies for established global brands. During this time, she oversaw the development and management of the clients’ brand strategy through primary research, account planning, digital communications, promotions, and more.
Angela holds a MA (magna cum laude) in Conflict Resolution and certification in professional mediation from the University of Denver. She completed her undergrad at the University of Colorado at Boulder where she began racing competitively for teams like Colavita and Kenda. Today, Angela is a Certified Instructor for The League of American Bicyclists and continues to teach bicycle safety classes to all road users. Additionally, Angela is a certified trainer for the Federal Highway Administration in Transportation Decision Making and has her Collaborative Technology certification from the National Center for Environmental Conflict Resolution.
